Name change info: The change in the name from “Triangle” back to “Freeway” was required due to the FMAG grant, which was approved using the name of “Freeway Fire”. When the CALFIRE Team assumed the fire they renamed it, however since redoing the FMAG would have been problematic, the name was changed back. There’s new fire mapping site (now in Beta)- http://firelocator.net/. It uses MS Virtual Earth, so you have to install the Silverlight display app.

0700 Name changed to Triangle Complex. Freeway Fire and Landfill Fire burned together overnight. Same incident number as Freeway FireApprox 1245 or so, name changed back to Freeway Complex
